Our house system is a family within a family. It strengthens camaraderie between year groups, fostering a sense of belonging and providing ample opportunities for healthy competition between houses.
Girls are allocated to one of four houses when they join. Our houses are named after inspirational women, Florence Nightingale, Marianne North, the Brontes and the Pankhursts. Siblings will always be allocated the same house. Girls earn house merits for endeavour, community spirit, creativity, kindness and sporting achievement.
Each house plans and runs a whole school event once a year to fundraise for their chosen charity. Past house events have included a (paddling) pool party on the netball courts, complete with Hawaiian shirts and ice lollies, a hula-hoopathon and Shakespearean workshops.
